Finally the most awaited day had come and i successfully
joined iforce.
Mom as usual out of care went to the temple, did pooja, and offered me with the prasadham, on the flip side, dad advised me to do well in whatever I do. I was yet to update my friends, in Facebook as well. I reached the place where I had my interview, still I just couldn’t believe myself that i am placed in a job and is finally gonna work. I never dreamt getting a job was that simple, credit goes to my dad as he made it all for me. I entered the organization, we were about 7 of us and we were made to wait at the conference room.

There came a person who introduced himself as Ram and he added his designation as well(which I have never
even heard of :D). He guided us in filling all the joining forms. The moment
they asked us to break for lunch, i had almost signed 12 times. hufff..
For the first time in life, trust me, I hated signing. Randomly went through their policies, one such interesting bullet point marked that they could send us home anytime based on the underperformance. Who cares, all of us signed it up hastily just to get to rid of this signing business.

We simply moved
towards the food court and everyone brought their respective food and gathered
in a table. Each one of us finally got introduced. I understood that some of
them really had a struggle in getting a job and they belonged to my senior’s
batch, anyways, everyone is happy to be here and a part of iforce. They knew loads about the company but no one knew
what kind of work we were gonna do here and what technology we gonna work in.
Mom called me and I updated her telling everything was fine.
She laughed when I told her about signing in many pages. Later we went back to the conference room and
again filled in the left over forms. I was wondering whom I could ask what our
job role would be. First day went just like that and mom informed most of our relatives
that I’d joined iforce and that today was my first working
day. My cousins did get annoyed after having known it through an indirect
source and they rang me to give me a red carpet welcoming (hope you guys
understood what they did to me ;P) in fact they were happy though disappointed
for me not informing them directly. I had no answers for them, except a smile
later they were behind me for treat.
That day’s night when I was off to bed, I felt good .. especially
the wow factor was in J
hmmmm…that I started working :D missed her a lot.. wish she was here right next
to me to see and feel the happiness together… (Expecting a flashback now???

Next day at office, had not much work indeed, spent quality
time at the food court and surfing, without knowing what we were supposed to
do. Except us everyone seemed workaholic. 7 of us got close to each other and also
to the receptionist, as we spent more time at the reception. It was almost 4
days since we did the same routine, having not much work, it was more of a
picnic to us. On Friday afternoon the receptionist informed us that we may
receive some shocking news soon. We had no clue what it was gonna be like, the
day went confusing. Exactly at 5o’clock
we received a e-mail from the HR Mgr… OMG!!!! … WTF??…. shocking to the
core…
